CoreGenic packages 1

We are pleased to announce that we are diversifying our service offering, providing SSIP accreditation help for companies. We can now assist with attaining SSIP schemes CHAS and SafeContractor on a stand-alone one-time basis, which previously has only been a part of our retainer offering.

Read on to find out about SSIP, CHAS and SafeContractor schemes, along with our pricing for each service.

What is SSIP?

Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) is the umbrella organisation responsible for pulling together multiple occupational health and safety schemes with the aim of reducing costs for both supplier and buyers, in particular within the construction industry.

SSIP now features over 60 members who have accredited over 55,000 suppliers, saving them more than £140 million, a number that is growing annually. Obtaining SSIP membership simplifies the process of tendering while also giving prospective clients assurance of credibility.

What is CHAS?

The Contactors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) is a pre-approval scheme relating to health and safety. It improves your professional image while also reducing administration time in the tender process.

What is SafeContractor?

SafeContractor is an accreditation that showcases that a business prioritises their employees’ health and safety first and foremost. It involves completing assessments through a dedicated portal, saving time and tailoring questions relevant to your business, saving time and effort.

What are the benefits?

Both CHAS and SafeContractor membership provides additional benefits that can save your company hundreds of pounds each year, such as tailored business insurance, fuel discounts, e-learning training and Business Shield support.

This membership affiliates your business with the SSIP, adding credibility and enhancing the opportunities with Local Authorities. You can also display both the CHAS and SafeContractor logos on company marketing material, website and stickers.
